So today is Glenna's birthday! wOOt! tomorrow we shall all get retartedly wasted on the beach in NJ to celebrate!
In preparation for the beach im off to go swimsuit shopping with Gabs after my amazing bikini wax that i got at this adorable place like 2 blocks away. next up is the brazilian wax in preparation for mathieus visit....gotta physically prepare myself for that one. its gonna hurt.

Skwashed Update!
First of all, a shout out to my lovely drunken roomate who speaks in questions when shes drunk and says amazing things like "Taxi! Honkey honk me, you?" <3 you!
Secondly, still loving Lauren and the boyf Mathieu for coming to see RENT with me! We will be face-to-face (well....with A-M rows of heads between us because we waited so long) with Adam and Anthony....le sigh.
I have finally finished the third season of house and holy fuck! next season best not be losing any characters because we all know shows go way down hill once cast members start dropping....well, all cept for 24. Dont even get me started on Grey's without Addison too. just not cool. Anyways, i think ill be moving onto the world of Heroes, ya know, since i need another TV show to watch. Im counting the days till the Weeds premiere....with MK (god help us)

why am i the only true RENT fan?
Look at these two beautiful talented men....why is it that Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal are returning to RENT for 6 weeks and no one will go see them with me?? pff, you call yourself RENT fans. I am ashamed of you....thats right. you know who you are....

l'appartment
en fin.....we have finally settled into the apt. we got internet and tv installed yesterday (LOTS of channels. i shall cease to do anything with my life) and all the furniture is in and everything. so, as we do, we throw a party. hehe. so here is the grand tour:
As you walk in, there is a hallway that leads to the living room. Off the hallway as soon as you walk in is Lauren's room that I have yet to get a good picture of. Shes just too messy for the delicate eyes of my camera. Once through the hallway, you can see Court and DT sitting on the couch in our living/common area.
We found an adorable little fold out table that has the potential to seat four, or be used as a corner table that sits next to the couch. We have a good size kitchen in the corner and the bathroom is that door that is flung open next to the kitchen.
If you follow DT's nose you will find Court's room and her executive desk that she bought and didnt fit anywhere but in the middle of her room so when she sits in it you feel like you are being interviewed. She also had to dismantal her closet door because it would open with her bed situated where it is. I wish we could just put it up in my doorway because i have yet to get a door installed in my room.
My room is right next to Court's room. I have two nice windows that look out onto the street which was really bad until a couple days ago when i got blinds installed (thanks to Court's dad). The quilt that is on my bed was made by my parent's really great family friend, Laura Hill. She made one for me and Gabs and then one for my parents as well. Shes a pretty incredible person, i must say...
Anyways, there is the grand tour of our little apt. We are really happy here and today we ran into the Amandas at the gym and they live right down the street in Styvesant Town ... so we will have to chill and see their apt too. w00t!
In other news, Court left today for Amsterdam so Lauren and i will have to get drunk every night to make up for the fact that her beautiful face isnt here to entertain us. Also, we went to the gym this morning which was um, painful, to put it lightly. Laur and i had some real trouble since we havnt been to the gym in um....7 months? yea, we shall inspire each other for the rest of the summer to loose the baby bellies we have grown thanks to french bread, empanadas and excessive amounts of alcohol. le sigh....
ok, off to the B Cup Cafe to start my internship portfolio....

I <3 NYC
just a little something that i thought was post-worthy....
I was walking home just now from a long day of work at PB&Co. when I saw a large crowd of people standing on a corner watching some sort of spectacle. As I get closer I see a Chinese woman in a gold dress screaming "PRAY WITH MEEEE" and as I was about to put my headphones back in and continue walking, all of a sudden, I realize why the crowd was so large. There, standing next to the woman, was a man....completely naked except for his penis, which was wrapped in nothing less than plastic wrap. ...oh, and he was also wearing silver high-tops and white socks.

airports....sigh
So its 9:24 and my flight from NYC to Chicago should have boarded an hour ago, but due to thunderstorms in Chicago, I am stuck at Laguardia (which is btw the most boring airport in the world) for another hour, paying $7.95 for an internet connection and listening to the top story on CNN: “Paris Gets Out of Jail!”
Anyways, welcome to my new blog. I just started an internship at Next New Networks (check it out: www.nextnewnetworks.com) and on the first day six different people asked me if I had a blog and if i posted my own videos on YouTube. I was inspired and have now, as of this moment in Terminal B, Gate D7 in Laguardia airport, begun my exciting days of blogging!
What I forgot to mention is the reason for my trip to Chicago. My Grandmother, Anneliese Urban died in January and her memorial service is this weekend. In honor of her amazing life I have created a slideshow which I hope to post later but until then here are some pictures:
