so today i bought a bike from one of my co-workers at PB&Co. i have been looking all over craigslist for a cheap but good bike that i can leave on the street and then last night at the employee dinner, Carrie was like "hey, just take mine. Ill give it to you for $40".....done deal!
i went and got a bike lock today and rode it home from work which was one of the most frightening moments of my life....mostly because the seat is a little too high and i kinda forgot how to ride a bike. hehe. but it got better and i made it home safe.
then i heard about this crazy awesome thing thats going on in Paris called velib where you can pick up and drop off bikes all over the city and ride them anywhere. its SOOO cheap too! like 30euros for a whole year. and there are tons of pick-up and drop off points like every couple of blocks or so....genius.
tomorrow im off to lower the bike seat and put a basket on the bike....he needs a name i think. any suggestions?
